"With over three decades in the sport, I began weightlifting at the age of 13 - long before it gained popularity!
Breaking stereotypes at the time, I competed at the highest levels and set a few records along the way. I always wanted to help pave the way for future athletes, especially for females in our sport. Since retiring from competitive weightlifting, I now dedicate my time to coaching, sharing my expertise, and inspiring others to reach their full potential. I'd just like to give a testimonial about the seminar on Sunday. It was wonderful! I was a complete beginner and did not have a clue about any of the lifting techniques and I also knew no one at the seminar so nerves were quite high! But from the second I walked in everyone was welcoming and supportive! Michael was amazing though and made everyone feel at ease with good sense of humour but amazing knowledge and knew how to get the teaching points across to everyone! By the end of the day I was getting every single move, of course it takes practice, but I've definitely been taught how to avoid injury when training which has helped my confidence when coming to these lifts! If you are debating going to a seminar, I'd say go! You definitely won't regret it!

The Michaela Breeze seminar was incredible, there was so much content covered with plenty of time to practice coaching cues. Gaining a greater understanding of techniques with cues which work will be instrumental in being able to progress whilst minimising injuries. The atmosphere was very relaxed which allowed for more progress within the session. A fantastic day all around, thank you Michaela.
